Job summary

Senior Helpers of Seal Beach, Los Alamitos team is seeking caregivers to serve Huntington Beach CA and surrounding areas. The role focuses on non-medical in-home care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities, errands, and transportation.

The team emphasizes a welcoming work environment, caregiver development, and flexible scheduling to fit personal needs. Training is provided to maintain high standards of care and client well-being.

Qualifications

• Valid license and TB test are required.
• Must be on the California State Registry (HCA) or willing to sign up.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with diet, hygiene, mobility, and errands.
• Administer medication reminders and transportation to appointments.

We are currently seeking caregivers, personal care assistants, CNA's, Home Care Aid, and candidates who are interested in making a difference in our customers' lives in Cypress, Long Beach, Lakewood, Norwalk, Downey, Garden Grove, Seal Beach, Huntington Beach CA and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide caring companionship through conversation, help with hobbies, meal preparation, and more
• Assist with diet monitoring, walking, personal hygiene care, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with non-medical care needs including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery
• Provide transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, and running errands
• Complete medication reminders

Job Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance
• Valid TB test (or willing to get one)
• Must be on the California State Registry (or willing to sign up) - HCA
• Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients
• Proficient communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
