Job summary

Senior Helpers of Polk County in Lakeland, FL is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors at home. Join a team that values empathy, reliability, and professional growth, with flexible hours and comprehensive training.

As a caregiver, you’ll build one-on-one relationships, assist with ADLs, and help clients stay independent. We offer competitive pay, overtime options, benefits, and ongoing education in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care, home care, and personal care
• Familiarity with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated empathy and compassion
• Ability to work independently and remotely when needed
• 1+ year of experience providing personal care in a home or facility setting
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active car insurance
• CPR certification
• CNA, HHA, or similar certification (a plus)
• Experience using a Hoyer Lift or similar equipment (beneficial)
