Job summary

Senior Helpers of Polk County in Lakeland, FL is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors. We offer flexible hours, supportive training, and a respectful team environment.

Candidates should have experience in patient and home care, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and CNA/HHA or similar certification is a plus. Competitive pay $16–$17 per hour, overtime, benefits, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient and home care, with ADL familiarity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy and compassion; ability to work independently and remotely when needed.
• 1+ year of personal care in home or facility setting.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active car insurance.
• CPR certification; CNA/HHA or similar certification is a plus.
• Experience using a Hoyer Lift or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home care to seniors.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Support clients with mobility and hygiene.
• Maintain accurate client records and report changes.
• Follow care plans and coordinate with family.
• Ensure safety and comfort during visits.
