Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking committed CNAs and Home Health Aides to assist our growing number of clients with in-home care. Our team provides personal care services that help clients safely remain in their homes.

As a Home Health Aide, you will help with ADLs, companionship, light housekeeping, meal planning and transportation while maintaining a caring, compassionate approach. Benefits include flexible schedules, weekend/holiday pay, referral bonuses and access to online CEU training.

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care services in agencies or care facilities.
• Valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID.
• Clear Level 2 AHCA background screen.
• At least 18 years old.
• Active CPR certification from an in-person course.
• Reliable transportation to shifts.
• Excellent communication and compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Offer companionship and light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning).
• Plan and prepare meals for clients and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with ADLs and transfers between bed, chair and wheelchair.
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands.
• Provide medication reminders to clients.

Senior Helpers is seeking committed, caring and qualified CNAs and Home Health Aides to assist our growing number of clients with personal, in-home care.

Job Description

Home Health Aides at Senior Helpers provide personal care services for our clients that enable them to safely and comfortably remain in their homes. Caregiver duties include helping clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, eating, grooming and toileting. Examples include:

• Companionship (playing games, talking, going for walks)
• Light housekeeping, including laundry
• Meal planning and preparation
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as showering, eating, and grooming
• Transfer assistance between bed, chairs, wheelchairs, etc.
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Medication reminders

Qualifications Needed

• Previous professional experience (with an agency or a care facility) providing personal care services.
• Valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID
• Clear Level 2 Background Screen from the State of Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA).Information about the Level 2 background screen can be found here: Clearinghouse Education and Awareness
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have an active CPR certification form an in-person, hands-on course.
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts
• Excellent communication skills with a kind, caring and compassionate demeanor
