Job summary

Right at Home Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo is seeking experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care in Wyoming, MI. You will follow clear care plans, communicate effectively with clients and families, and deliver compassionate support in clients’ homes.

We offer paid training, travel time and mileage between clients, health/dental/vision options, and opportunities for higher pay on advanced cases.

Qualifications

• 6+ months caregiving experience.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and hands-on care based on client needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Support with meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
• Deliver hands-on care such as bathing, repositioning, hygiene, and transfers for bed-bound clients.
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions while maintaining empathy and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

• Client needs vary — some require companionship, others need hands-on care.
• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility)
• Support ADLs (meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders)
• Provide hands-on care such as bathing, repositioning, hygiene, and support for bed-bound clients
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions
• Use patience and professionalism when clients are resistant or having a difficult day
