Job summary

New Wave Home Care in Santa Monica is seeking compassionate caregiver support for seniors in a home setting. You will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, and help clients with errands and appointments, aiming to maintain safety and comfort in their homes.

The role emphasizes one-on-one patient care, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and availability for weekend shifts. English plus Spanish is a plus, with a focus on high-quality, respectful support.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• HCA Registration (can help with process).
• Minimum 1 year caregiving experience.
• Current TB test preferred.
• Able to drive clients to errands or appointments.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and learn new skills.
• Lift up to 50 pounds with physical capability.
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor.
• Available to work multiple schedules including one weekend day.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Able to drive the client to errands or Dr appointment with their car or the clients car
• Take pride in providing high quality care
