Job summary

New Wave Home Care in the Los Angeles area provides high-quality in-home care to seniors in the San Fernando Valley, focusing on personal care, hygiene, and support for those with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other age-related conditions.

We emphasize compassionate, one-on-one caregiving with a commitment to safety and family engagement. Our team welcomes reliable caregivers who can drive clients and adapt to flexible schedules, including weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• HCA Registration (Can help).
• 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Current TB Test (Preferred).
• Able to drive the client to errands or Dr appointment with their car or the clients car.
• Take pride in providing high quality care.
• Fluency with English and Spanish is a plus.
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work multiple schedules including one weekend day consistently.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• Supportive and compassionate.
• Take pride in providing high quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients.
