Job summary

CARE Homecare in West Hollywood, CA is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide personal care, companionship, and mobility support to clients in the Los Angeles area.

Roles include bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments. Must have HCA registration, a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Training is provided; benefits include health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current TB test.
• First Aid certification.
• Ability to pass Live Scan/background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding).
• Provide companionship and support independence.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping.
• Accompany to appointments and activities.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Communicate with families and CARE Homecare team.
• Document care and important changes.

Job Details: Job Location: WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA 90046, Salary Range: $21.00 - $23.00 Hourly, CARE Homecare has clients throughout Los Angeles, including Santa Monica, Culver City, Marina del Rey, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Koreatown, and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or direct care experience
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have a working smartphone and be able to use required mobile apps
• Current negative TB test
• First Aid certification
• Ability to pass a Live Scan/background check
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work varied schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Dementia experience preferred
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
