Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a caregiver in Cincinnati, OH. This part-time role runs 2pm-10pm Monday and Wednesday, with every other weekend 11am-11pm, in the East Gate area (ZIP 45245).

A valid driver's license for at least 1 year and a clean driving record are required. You’ll support participants with personal hygiene, complex needs, and community activities while helping them set goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; proof of education is required.
• Age: Minimum 18 years of age.
• Experience: Six months of experience with intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Encourage participation in community activities and routines.
• Help participants work toward personal goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
