Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, seeks a compassionate caregiver for a part-time Fri-Sun 6a-2p shift in West Virginia. A valid driver’s license is required to support participants in the community.

You’ll help with personal care, routines, nutrition, and daily activities while building meaningful relationships with individuals who have developmental challenges. Join a mission-driven team and grow your skills in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Cooking, cleaning, assisting with personal care and staying calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, activities of daily living, and nutrition.
• Support participants to participate in community and waiver home activities.
• Maintain safe, clean living environments and document observations.
• Demonstrate compassion, patience, and reliability in all interactions.
