Damar Services in Indiana is seeking a Caregiver Training Coordinator to design and implement caregiver training for families of clients with autism and developmental disabilities. You will train groups via telehealth and in person and monitor outcomes using our measurement system.
This role may require travel among Damar ABA locations. A Master’s degree and BCBA certification are required, plus trainer certifications and a valid Indiana driver’s license.

Join us in empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism. We are currently seeking Caregiver Training Coordinators to join our team at our Ameriplex, Avon, and Fall Creek clinics. The Caregiver Training Coordinator is responsible for providing direct training to families or caregivers. The Caregiver Training Coordinator will be responsible for implementing caregiver training for active client families and waitlist client families and must use measurement system to determine its effectiveness. He/she may commute between all Damar ABA locations.

Damar’s ABA program begins with an evaluation that includes a full assessment of each child. Observation time, parent interviews, and the appropriate assessment tools are used to create an individualized treatment plan in order to meet the unique needs of your child with autism. The essential functions of this position require the physical ability and mobility needed to perform the job. This includes the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.; operate office equipment, including a computer keyboard; travel to other locations using private or commercial transportation; and communicate effectively to exchange information.
The position also requires the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to client behaviors, staff instructions, safety concerns, and emergencies in an environment where individuals may display aggressive, self-injurious, sexually maladaptive, elopement, or other unpredictable behaviors.
Regular and acceptable attendance, excluding approved absences and periods of leave, is also an essential function of the position.
