Job summary

Cedarbrook Senior Living is seeking a dynamic Caregiver for our community in Michigan. The role focuses on assisting residents with personal care, grooming, nutrition, and mobility, while promoting participation in activities and maintaining a compassionate environment.

Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for CNA training (100 hours) and at least 1 year of CNA experience. The CNA program supports staff development and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 100-hour CNA training preferred.
• One year CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal care including grooming, hygiene, dressing and nutrition.
• Gives residents assistance to and from dining room and helps with meals.
• Encourages residents to participate in activities and social events.
• Listens to residents' concerns and reports observations to the Director when needed.
• Participates in in-service trainings to expand abilities and meet standards.
• Maintains professional appearance and conducts self in a manner reflecting the community.
• Follows all policies, procedures, and Federal/State regulations.
• Understands and implements fire safety and evacuation procedures during drills and emergencies.
• Reliable and punctual with attendance and schedule requirements.
