Via Elegante Assisted Living and Memory Care in Sierra Vista, AZ is hiring a Full Time Certified Caregiver to provide compassionate care to our seniors in a supportive on-site environment.

You will conduct health assessments, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, personal care, meals, and hydration, and support end-of-life care with empathy. This role offers competitive pay and growth opportunities within a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Arizona Caregiver Certification is a state requirement for this role.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Arizona Memory Care Certification (can be provided by Via Elegante).
• In-person CPR and First Aid Certification (Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• Proof of negative TB test is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving.

As a Certified Caregiver at Via Elegante in our Sierra Vista Communities, you will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through compassionate and dedicated care. In this vital role, you will provide dignified assistance with personal care, fostering independence while honoring the unique choices of each resident. You will recognize and address their spiritual, social, recreational, emotional, and physical needs, ensuring a supportive environment.

What we're looking for in a Certified Caregiver

To excel as a Certified Caregiver at Via Elegante in our Sierra Vista communities, you will need a combination of specialized skills and certifications. A valid Arizona Caregiver Certification is a state requirement for this role. In addition, a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card and an Arizona Memory Care Certification are also required. Your qualifications should also include a valid in-person CPR and First Aid Certification through the Red Cross or American Heart Association, along with proof of a negative TB test, which can also be facilitated by our team. Success in this position hinges on your strong problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving. Your ability to remain empathetic, efficient, and resourceful will greatly impact the well-being and quality of life for our residents.

• Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Valid Arizona Memory Care Certification (can be provided by Via Elegante)

If you are a CNA or an LNA you will still need to take a 16 hour Bridge course to get your Caregiver Certification prior to being employed.
