Job summary

Frontier Senior Living is seeking an outstanding Caregiver for the Catalina Springs Memory Care community in Oro Valley, AZ. The role requires Arizona State‑Approved Assisted Living Caregiver Certification or ability to obtain it.

A sign-on bonus of $300 for new full-time caregivers who apply between 7/21/26 and 8/31/26 is offered after 90 days of employment. Shifts include Day, Swing/Evening, and NOC/Overnight.

Qualifications

• High school graduate preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.
• Familiarity with elderly population; training available.
• Attend mandatory in-services and other meetings.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all care needs a resident might require.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Notify care coordinators of changes in resident condition.
• Assist in dining room during meals: setup, orders, service, bus tables.
• Assist with activities and escort residents to scheduled activities.
• Escort residents to lobby for scheduled appointments.
• Monitor changes of condition and report to care staff.
• Take accurate vital signs and weights.
• Assist with care needs up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification as directed.

Salary: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour

This position requires that candidates have or can immediately obtain an Arizona State‑Approved Assisted Living Caregiver Certification.

Shifts and Schedules

• Day Shift: Approx. 6 AM – 2 PM
• Swing/Evening Shift: Approx. 2 PM – 10 PM
• NOC/Overnight Shift: Approx. 10 PM – 6 AM

Responsibilities

• Assist with all care needs a resident might require.

• Notify Resident Care Coordinator/Executive Director/RN of resident changes of condition.
• Assist in the dining room during meal times including, but not limited to, set‑up, take meal/beverage orders, serve, and bus tables.

• Ensure residents are ready and escorted to the lobby for scheduled appointments.
• Recognize changes of condition and report to Medication Aide/Resident Care Coordinator/RN immediately.
• Take accurate vital signs and weights.
• Assist in‑care needs of residents, which may include lifting requirements up to 40 pounds.
• Keep current on First Aid/CPR as directed by Resident Care Coordinator.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or other management staff.
