Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver in Raleigh to act as the shift leader, ensuring exceptional resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team.

You will lead shift assignments, provide hands-on ADL support, review charts for ISP alignment, mentor new staff, and promote safety and compliant, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands‑on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.

Pay Range:15.20 - 19.05
