Job summary

Human Touch Home Health in Beltsville, MD is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage daily patient and caregiver schedules and to ensure timely, quality care. The role requires organized, dependable, people-focused individuals who can handle last-minute changes while keeping patients at the center of every decision.

The successful candidate will coordinate staff, communicate changes clearly, and work closely with recruiting to forecast needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Staffing, Scheduling, Administrative, or Healthcare preferred.
• Home Health Staffing or Scheduling experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain daily patient and caregiver schedules.
• Match caregivers and clinical staff with patients based on availability, location, qualifications, and patient needs.
• Communicate schedules and schedule changes clearly with employees and patients.
• Respond quickly to call-outs, cancellations, and changes in patient needs.
• Identify coverage needs and fill open assignments proactively.
• Maintain accurate scheduling information within company systems.
• Track employee availability and communicate staffing needs to management.
• Work closely with recruiting and onboarding to identify current and upcoming staffing needs.
• Verify that assigned employees meet required credential and compliance requirements.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, caregivers, nurses, and other team members.
• Assist with maintaining employee and patient records.
• Support the office with additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
