Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking a Staffing Specialist to manage day-to-day staffing and scheduling for the Hillcrest Caring Companions team in Bellevue, NE. You will coordinate client-caregiver matches, maintain schedules, and respond to inquiries from clients and families.

The role emphasizes organization, proactive problem-solving, and professional communication to ensure reliable support and a positive care experience for clients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of scheduling or staffing experience is required.
• Experience in home care, healthcare, or senior living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill daily unassigned shifts with best-fit team members based on client needs, skills, availability, and fit.
• Proactively identify and fill open shifts to prevent gaps in service.
• Create and maintain monthly team member schedules.
• Match client needs with caregiver availability and personality.
• Coordinate introductions and job shadows for new clients and team members.
• Assist with PTO requests while considering coverage and continuity of care.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours scheduling.
