Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Jersey Village, TX is seeking compassionate caregivers for in-home, non-medical care. You’ll provide companionship, assist with daily living, and help seniors stay independent and safe at home.

We offer flexible schedules, next-day pay, and benefits for full-time and part-time roles. Applicants must have at least 2 years of caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license with insurance, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Willing to travel within a 20-mile radius of home.
• Comfortable working with both male and female clients.
• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients.
• Assist with personal hygiene including showering, bathing, and dressing.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients shopping.
• Perform basic household chores as needed.
• Report unusual incidents and respond to emergencies.
• Support daily living activities for seniors.

CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

As a caregiver, you'll provide personalized, non-medical assistance to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
• Assisting with personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility inside and outside the home, including walks and doctor's appointments
• Planning and preparing meals
• Completing grocery shopping or accompanying clients on shopping trips
• Performing basic housekeeping duties
• Reporting unusual incidents and responding appropriately to emergencies
• Assisting with activities essential to daily living

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for caregivers who meet the following requirements:

• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
• Willingness and ability to travel within a 20-mile radius of your home
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients
