Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Channelview, TX is actively hiring dedicated caregivers for part-time, in-home, non-medical support. You will travel to surrounding communities, provide companionship, personal care, and mobility assistance while maintaining clients’ safety and independence.

We offer flexible scheduling, in-office orientation, and a supportive team. Prior caregiving experience is valued; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes and surrounding communities.
• Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts is preferred but not required.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
• Minimum of two years’ caregiving experience required.
• Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical, in-home care to help clients stay safe and independent.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to seniors and veterans.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility, errands, and appointments.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping; report changes in condition.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical, in-home assistance to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility, errands, and appointments
• Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications include:

• Reliable transportation
• Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts (preferred, but not required)
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients
• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20 mile radius
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude
