Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Vidor, TX is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical care and companionship in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience (required).
• Familiar with Hoyer lifts and gait belts (a plus).
• Equipped with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel throughout Vidor and surrounding communities.
• Strong communicators with a positive, caring attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers; providing transportation to appointments and errands.
• Offering companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Promoting client independence, dignity, and quality of life.
