Job summary

Amada Senior Care is hiring caregivers to support seniors and veterans in Vidor, TX and surrounding areas. Join our team to provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship tailored to individual needs.

We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay based on experience, health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, and opportunities for full-time, part-time, weekend, and overnight roles. Travel will be required within the Vidor area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience required.
• Familiar with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
• Willing to travel throughout Vidor and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Plan and prepare meals; perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders as needed.
• Assist with mobility and transfers; provide transportation to appointments.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Promote client independence, dignity, and quality of life.
