Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC in Lakeville, MN is seeking a compassionate Night Shift Resident Assistant (RA) to support residents’ daily living activities under nursing supervision. You will deliver personal care, assist with meals, and keep careful daily notes.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn EHR systems.
• Compassion for hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning and transferring.
• Assists residents in dining.
• Performs homemaking tasks as needed.
• Responds to and reports changes in resident health status.
• Completes daily charting and documentation.

The Caregiver, or Resident Assistant (RA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The RA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
