Job summary

The Waters in Lakeville, MN is hiring for a Full-Time Caregiver/Resident Assistant night shift (11 PM–7:30 AM). Unlicensed RA wage range is $17-$19/hour; Nursing Assistant/Registered wage is $18/hour and higher based on experience.

Benefits include pre-hire shadow shifts, 40+ hours of paid training, double pay for holidays, and several PTO programs. The RA provides personal care, assists residents at meals, performs homemaking tasks, and reports changes in health status.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for hospitality and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible with hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated.
• Assist residents in dining.
• Provides homemaking tasks.
• Responds to and reports changes in resident health status and recommendations for changes to the resident plan of care.
• Completes thorough daily charting.
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Caregiver, or Resident Assistant (RA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The RA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting

• Other duties as assigned
