Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC in Lakeville, MN is hiring for a full-time Resident Assistant on the 11 PM–7:30 AM shift. The role handles personal care, dining assistance, homemaking, and charting with a focus on compassionate senior care.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of RA care experience preferred, English proficiency, and basic computer/EHR skills. Excellent benefits, paid training, and growth opportunities are offered.

Unlicensed Resident Assistants wage range is $17-$19/hr based on experience

Nursing Assistant/Registered wage is $18/hr and higher based on experience

The Caregiver, or Resident Assistant (RA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The RA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
• Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to be flexible with hours'/shift schedules and assignments
