Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena, managed by LCS, seeks an experienced QLS / Caregiver in Assisted Living to provide high-quality personal care to residents with warmth and hospitality. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and daily routines while maintaining dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in assisted living preferred.
• Must demonstrate hospitality-focused approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care).
• Make beds and handle resident laundry; assist with meals.
• Provide planned activities and respond to call lights.
• Provide emergency care within scope of practice.
• Follow community policies and use program components.
• Support residents with comfort and daily needs.

Working for our senior residents at Clarendale of Mokena will make your heart happy. We are seeking an experienced & hospitality focused QLS /Caregiver in Assisted Living. Responsible for various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents. Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.

Shifts needed nights - 7:00 pm-7:30 am

Schedule

The Role

• Assist all residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed, complete resident's laundry as assigned, assist residents with meal time.
• Provide activities as planned/directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Provide emergency care within scope of practice.
• Utilize special program components offered by the community.
• Provide services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents.
• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care.
• Be familiar with and follow community policies.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Salary: $18 per hour
