Job summary

Clarendale of Addison in Addison, IL is seeking an experienced Quality of Life Specialist/Caregiver to provide compassionate resident care overnight for our senior residents.

This full-time role runs 11:00 pm–7:00 am, with starting wage of $17.50 per hour. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and daily living activities, while promoting a calm, respectful atmosphere and documenting duties for the nurse on duty.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with high-quality personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinent care).
• Make beds in the morning, turn down at night, and change linens weekly or PRN.
• Complete residents' personal laundry as assigned.
• Assist with meals, including cutting food and encouraging intake.
• Report unusual resident behavior to the nurse on duty.

Responsibilities

• Assist all residents with personal care needs and comfort.
• Maintain a calm and welcoming atmosphere in the community.
• Complete shift assignments and communicate with nursing staff.

Education

PCA certificate or CNA license

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed in A.M., turn down as needed in P.M. and change bed linens once each week or PRN.
• Complete resident’s personal laundry as assigned.
• Assist residents with meal time. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Utilize special programs components offered by the community.
• Promote a calm atmosphere.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, and report to nursing supervisor.
• Report to nurse on duty and Director of Health Services all unusual behavior of resident (changing of status).

PCA certificate or CNA License (preferred)
