Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena, managed by LCS, invites you to join our dining team as a Server. We offer a warm, community-focused environment for our senior residents, with no late nights and flexible scheduling. This role supports an inviting dining atmosphere and high service standards.

Shifts include part-time positions with every other weekend; starting wage is $16 per hour. Previous food service or senior-care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required.
• Experience in food service work preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
• Take orders, provide service and requested items graciously and courteously.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and sanitation standards.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
