Job summary

Clarendale of Addison is seeking an experienced Quality of Life specialist/Caregiver to provide high-quality personal care to our senior residents. The role includes bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinent care, and vital checks, with bed-making and linen changes as part of daily routines.

The position offers a full-time night shift (11:00 pm – 7:00 am) starting at $18.00/hour, with benefits such as 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off and more.

Responsibilities

• Assist all residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinent care.
• Make beds in the morning, turn down in the evening, and change linens weekly or PRN.
• Complete resident laundry as assigned.
• Assist residents with meals, cut food, and encourage to eat.
• Utilize community-specific program components.
• Promote a calm, respectful atmosphere.
• Document shift assignments and report to the nursing supervisor.
• Report any unusual resident behavior to nurse on duty and Director of Health Services.

This role will perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of the residents.

Full-time 11:00 pm - 7 am

Position Summary

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Make all beds as needed in A.M., turn down as needed in P.M. and change bed linens once each week or PRN.
• Complete resident’s personal laundry as assigned.
• Assist residents with meal time. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Utilize special programs components offered by the community.
• Promote a calm atmosphere.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, and report to nursing supervisor.
• Report to nurse on duty and Director of Health Services all unusual behavior of resident (changing of status).

PCA Certificate Or CNA License (preferred)
