Job summary

Valley View Village Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is seeking a PRN Caregiver to join our compassionate care team in Des Moines, IA. This flexible, on-call role offers the opportunity to pick up extra hours while supporting older adults with daily living activities.

You’ll work in a supportive team, promote dignity and comfort, and receive training if needed to fit the needs of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with desired services in a caring, safe and timely manner.
• Provide redirection, reassurance, emotional and psychological support to residents and family members.

• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Valley View Village Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring PRNCaregivers to join our compassionate care team. At Valley View Village, you’ll work in a supportive, team-oriented environment where quality care and teamwork are truly valued.

As a PRN Caregiver at Valley View Village Assisted Living, you will assist residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort. You’ll provide hands-on support, respond to resident needs, and collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a genuine heart for serving seniors.

Position Type: On-Call (Flexibility to work both shifts)
Days: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
Nights: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

Location: 2571 Guthrie Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide residents with desired services in a caring, safe and timely manner.

Caregiver Qualifications
