Valley View Village, a Cassia community in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our caring culinary team. You will assist with meal preparation, food service, and cleanup to create a positive dining experience for residents.

No late nights and consistent hours are offered, with hands-on training in a supportive environment. Full-Time or Part-Time positions with varied shifts including mornings and evenings.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and understand procedures for work assignments, instructions, and menu requests.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as needed.

As a Dietary Aide at Valley View Village, you’ll assist with meal preparation, food service, and cleanup to help create a positive dining experience for our residents. Position Type:

Full-Time or Part-Time working a varied scheduled including every other weekend

Shifts Available:

Days: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm (Full-Time)
Evening: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Part-Time)

Dietary Aide Responsibilities:
