Job summary

Youthnet is seeking a Placement Support Manager to oversee caregiver support within the Olympic area (Kitsap, Jefferson, Clallam, Mason). The role focuses on health, safety, and emotional well-being of clients served by the Caregiver Support Program.

The manager will develop and implement Caregiver Support Plans, coordinate services, and collaborate with families, schools, and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for youth in care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social services or a closely related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree in social services or closely related field is required.
• Five years of full-time experience with children or youth in relevant settings.
• Completion of preservice training and annual training requirements.
• Willingness to attend agency trainings and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide Caregiver Support Services to an assigned caseload.
• Develop and implement Caregiver Support Plans for youth in care.
• Deliver caregiver support activities to improve child/youth outcomes.
• Coordinate referrals to medical, social, educational, and other services.
• Monitor progress relative to each youth's service plan.
• Maintain documentation in the individual client file.
• Collaborate with parents, caseworkers, school staff, and other partners.
• Provide resources and skills training to caregivers.
• Assist with payment issues and create family connections.
• Work onsite with flexibility and in-person visits as needed.
