Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support seniors with daily living activities and personal care. You will follow individualized service plans and document changes, while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

The role emphasizes engaging residents through activities, assisting dining services, and maintaining a clean environment, with additional focus on memory care for residents with memory loss.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• 18 years or older; compassionate, reliable, and good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, personal care.
• Follow ISP and document any changes.
• Engage residents through conversation and activities; support dining services.
• Maintain clean environment and communicate with families and care team.
• In Memory Care, provide enriching experiences for memory-impaired residents.

Job description

The Caregiver provides essential hands-on support to seniors, promoting their safety, dignity, and independence while building meaningful relationships. Key responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, following Individualized Service Plans (ISP), and documenting any changes. The role involves engaging residents through conversation and activities, supporting dining services, maintaining a clean environment, and communicating effectively with families and care team members. In Memory Care, caregivers create enriching experiences tailored to residents with memory loss.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be 18 or older, and possess or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification. Strong compassion, reliability, and communication skills are essential.
