Job summary

Your Home Assistant, LLC in California is seeking compassionate caregivers for in-home support. We offer flexible day, night, overnight and weekend shifts with weekly pay and growth opportunities.

As a Caregiver/Personal Assistant you’ll tailor care to each client’s needs, assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, errands, and transportation while maintaining safety standards and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in caregiving or related fields.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Provide medication reminders and mobility assistance.
• Meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping.
• Run errands, groceries, transportation to appointments.
• Offer parental support and respite care when needed.
• Observe changes in condition and report them promptly.
• Respond to urgent situations responsibly.

What You'll Do

As a Caregiver/Personal Assistant, you will provide personalized, hands-on support tailored to each client’s needs. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

• Medication reminders

• Mobility assistance (in-home and appointments)

• Meal planning and preparation

• Light housekeeping

• Grocery shopping and errands

• Transportation (appointments, school pick-up/drop-off, outings)

• Providing parental support and respite care

• Observing and reporting changes in condition

• Minimum 1 year experience in caregiving, healthcare, hospitality, or in-home support (preferred)

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation

• Ability to work independently in a one-on-one setting

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and/or weekends

• Commitment to enforcing health and safety standards

• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
