At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to work independently while following the client’s care plan
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and dependable support based on each client's care plan
• Assist with bathing and grooming
• Provide toileting and incontinence care
• Assist with dressing and personal hygiene
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Help clients maintain their dignity and independence
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Perform light housekeeping
• Assist with laundry
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
• Assist clients with daily routines
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Encourage independence and social engagement
• Assist clients with appropriate daily activities
• Develop a respectful and supportive relationship with clients
• Assist with ambulation
• Assist with transfers, as permitted by the client's care plan
• Support safe movement throughout the home
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments
• Assist with errands and community activities
