Job summary

Wallick Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide overnight personal care to residents. The role runs 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM in Meadow Valley Senior Living, delivering compassionate daily living support and timely medication administration in a resident-centered community.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and is organized, reliable, and capable of First Aid training. Prior assisted living experience and strong communication with residents and families are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of first aid training program is preferred.
• Previous experience in an assisted living facility is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents, and families.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Certified Nursing Assistant license a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provide physical resident care including personal hygiene and grooming.
• Administer medications as prescribed under guidelines.
• Respond to call lights promptly and address resident needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident involvement in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining, and other functions within the community.
• Assist with lifting, turning, and repositioning as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.


• Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.


• Administer medications, as prescribed, and under the guidelines of Medication administration & protocols.


• Answers call lights in a timely manner and responds accordingly to the resident’s needs.


• Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.


• Assists residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.


• Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.


• Should be organized and self-motivated.


• Completion of first aide training program.


• Previous experience in an assisted living facility a plus.


• Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents, and family members.


• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.


• Certified Nursing Assistant License a plus, not required
