Job summary

Vitality Living Preston Hollow in Dallas, TX is seeking a Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist to support residents in a vibrant community. You will assist with daily living activities, participate in care plans, and report needs to the Wellness Director.

Requirements include being 18+, clear English communication, meeting state health rules, and any required certifications. We offer Medical/Dental/Vision, PTO, bonuses for attendance, a 401k, and Part-Time/PRN schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective English communication in writing and speaking.
• Maintain any required state certifications.
• Meet health-related requirements as per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and simple treatments as per service plans.
• Contribute to development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of resident needs.
• Observe and report resident issues to supervisor or appropriate staff.
• Participate in onboarding, trainings, and team meetings; perform duties as assigned by Wellness Director.

Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
