Job summary

AdvisaCare is hiring Home Health Aides to provide private duty in-home care in the Grand Rapids/Alto area. Enjoy 1-on-1 care, flexible shifts, and the chance to truly connect with clients in their homes.

As a Home Health Aide you will assist with bathing, transfers, ROM, ADLs, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed. Must be reliable, have CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and be able to travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel within the service area as needed.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with bathing
• Slide board transfers
• Range of motion exercises (~15 minutes)
• Commode assistance
• ADLs (activities of daily living)
• Light housekeeping duties (cleaning, meal prep as needed)
• Driving a Handicap van as needed (client may drive)

AdvisaCare is seeking Top of the Line Caregivers/Home Health Aides to provide Private Duty In-Home Care for Clients in the Grand Rapids/Alto and surrounding areas!

Caregiver would be responsible for:

• Assistance with bathing
• Slide board Transfers
• Range of Motion ( Approx 15 minutes)
• Commode assistance
• ADL's
• Light housework duty (Cleaning, assistance with cooking as needed)
• Driving Handicap van as needed, typically client can drive themself.

Must be reliable and a Team Player!

• High School Graduate or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to work independently with integrity
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel within the service area
• CPR Certified
• Ability to pass a drug screen/clear background
