Job summary

TheKey provides comprehensive in-home care services for seniors, with a focus on aging well at home. The Caregiver Manager will oversee caregiving operations, coordinate caregiver schedules, onboarding, compliance, and ongoing training to ensure high-quality care for clients and families.

Leadership skills, compassion, and strong organization are essential to maintain efficient service levels, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the caregiver team and administrative staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Two years of health care, elder care, social work, or related industry experience.
• One year of scheduling experience in health care or human services is preferred.
• Strong communication, IT proficiency, and ability to document notes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise caregivers to deliver compassionate, effective care.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and development plans for caregiver performance.
• Match caregivers to clients based on needs, skills, and availability.
• Develop and manage caregiver schedules ensuring coverage and responsiveness.
• Coordinate with admin staff to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and state regulations.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives based on feedback and evaluations.
• Support ongoing caregiver training and maintain up-to-date licensing/compliance.
• Enter and update client and caregiver scheduling data in the systems.
• Review payroll timekeeping and approve for processing.
• Schedule client visits per care plans and staff availability.
• Identify trends from client concerns and suggest improvements.
• Explain scheduling importance to staff and meet payroll/billing deadlines.
• Support workers' compensation processes with timely, accurate handling.
