Job summary

TheKey is a caregiving company dedicated to aging at home with concierge-based services across North America. We seek a Caregiver Manager to lead and onboard caregivers, manage schedules, and ensure compliant, high-quality client care.

You will supervise staff, coach for performance, and collaborate with administrative teams to maintain smooth operations and exceptional service for clients and families.

Qualifications

• Two years in health care or related field
• Experience scheduling in health care preferred
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication with clinical and non-clinical staff
• Computer proficiency and accurate note documentation

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise caregivers, providing guidance and mentorship
• Provide supervision to caregivers, including coaching and corrective action
• Conduct performance evaluations and develop improvement plans
• Match caregivers to clients based on needs and skills
• Develop and manage caregiver schedules with adequate coverage
• Coordinate with administrative staff for seamless workflow
• Ensure compliance with standards and state regulations
• Lead quality improvement initiatives based on feedback
• Support ongoing caregiver training and licensing compliance
• Enter and update caregiver/client data in scheduling systems
• Review payroll timekeeping and approve time for payroll
• Schedule client visits according to care plans and staff availability
• Document concerns from clients and report trends to management
• Educate on scheduling accuracy, rates, and care notes for payroll/billing deadlines
• Support retention initiatives and workers' compensation processes
• Coordinate with Workers' Comp team to ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain safe workplace and assist with after-hours support
• Handle additional duties as assigned
