Job summary

Griswold Home Care of Howard County is hiring part-time caregivers to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking to older adults across Howard County, Maryland. Join a close-knit team that values compassion, reliability, and clear communication, with flexible scheduling and strong office support.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• Minimum one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Grocery shopping and driving clients to appointments.
• Supporting clients with dementia and memory care needs.
• Keeping families and the office in the loop with regular care notes.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Helping clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting

Who We're Looking For

• A caring, reliable, and responsible person ready to make a real impact
• CNA certification is a plus, but not required
• CPR Certification required
• TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
• At least ONE year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Comfortable working in pet-friendly homes, including cats and dogs
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration required
• Willingness to travel throughout Howard County
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED preferred
