Job summary

TheKey is seeking a dedicated Caregiver (Memory Care Professional) to enhance the quality of life for clients living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. You will provide non-medical companionship, deliver person-centered, activity-based care, and uphold luxury-brand customer service standards to support clients and their families.

We offer a $350 sign-on bonus, comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k) with matching, and paid training beginning at $20.10/hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year professional caregiving experience.
• Minimum of 1 year dementia/Alzheimer care experience.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle with current registration and insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Home Care Aide clearance with the State of CA.

Responsibilities

• Follow customized care plans to meet clients’ fundamental needs as the disease progresses.
• Assist clients with ADLs and personal care activities (hygiene, mobility, incontinence, feeding).
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide transportation to outings and appointments.
• Document task completion and communicate changes in client condition promptly.

The Caregiver (MCP) will provide non-medical companionship care for clients living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Our caregivers (MCPs) deliver person-centered, activity-based care focused around luxury-brand customer service to improve the mood and quality of life for their clients, families and other caregivers.

The Caregiver (MCP) will provide non-medical companionship care for clients living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Our caregivers (MCPs) deliver person-centered, activity-based care focused around luxury-brand customer service to improve the mood and quality of life for their clients, families and other caregivers.

Schedule

• Full Time schedule: 8hr shifts, 12hrs, Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday
• Part time schedule: 4hr shifts, 3-6 days a week

Responsibilities

• Caregivers follow customized care plans that are designed to meet the clients’ fundamental needs, even as the disease progresses.
• Assist clients with ADLs and personal care activities, including hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation
• Transportation to and from outings and appointments.
• Document completion of tasks, and promptly communicate changes in client’s physical condition, mental capacity, or behavior.
