Job summary

Right at Home Merrillville, IN is seeking experienced caregivers to provide compassionate, in-home care with clear care plans and strong communication. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in their homes across several NW Indiana areas.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Support daily needs: meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
• Provide hands‑on care for bed‑bound clients, including bathing, repositioning, and hygiene
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions
• Maintain patience and professionalism, even during challenging situations
