Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate caregiver for one-on-one care in the Leechburg area. The position features afternoon shifts starting at 11:00 AM, with weekday and Saturday coverage to support a client who may have dementia, focusing on comfort, safety, and meaningful engagement.

The role requires 3–6 months of caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, and being at least 18 years old, with TB testing completed as required.

Qualifications

• At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events.
• Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns.
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.

Schedule
