Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Leechburg area. This role offers a consistent weekday morning schedule with afternoon shifts starting at 11:00 AM, on weekdays and Saturdays.

The position emphasizes building meaningful connections, supporting individuals with Dementia, and maintaining a warm, professional demeanor while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• At least 3–6 months of professional or personal experience in home care or caregiving.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• TB test (2-Step TB or QuantiFERON Gold) negative result required.
• Experience in healthcare settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs such as dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversations and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events.
• Monitor clients' overall well‑being and report any concerns.
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.

Schedule:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
• Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times

Qualifications:

• At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care,caregiving, or related field (Required)
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation (Required)
• Must be at least 18 years old (Required)
• Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test (Required)
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.
