Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate caregiver in the Lower Burrell area to provide one-on-one care for a client, with an afternoon schedule starting at 1:00 PM on weekdays. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful connections and has experience working with Dementia clients.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months of experience in home care, caregiving, or related field
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Negative results of a 2-Step TB Test or TB QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test
• Experience in healthcare or related fields is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
• Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times

Schedule:

• Afternoon shifts (starting 1:00 PM)
• Weekdays

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
• Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times

• At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care,caregiving, or related field
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.
