Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic is seeking Personal Care Aides to provide in-home care to clients, assisting with daily living activities and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

You will follow client care plans, perform tasks via EVV, assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meal prep, and transfers, while upholding safety protocols and confidentiality.

Please note this role requires 18+ years of age with at least 6 months of caregiving experience and strong communication and observational skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication, observation, and safety awareness skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow client care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Support clients with self-care activities and basic personal care (bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal prep).
• Assist with transfers and mobility equipment.
• Adhere to safety, universal precautions, and infection control protocols.
• Perform secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy while providing quality care within scope.
• Notify supervisors of any changes in client condition or concerns about abuse or neglect.

Role:

Responsibilities Include

• Following client care plans and completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Supporting clients with self-help activities and basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal prep, and assisting with transfers and mobility equipment.
• Adhering to safety, universal precautions, and infection control protocols.
• Performing secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Maintaining confidentiality, respecting client privacy, and providing quality care within scope.
• Notifying supervisors of any changes in client condition, unsafe environments, or concerns about abuse or neglect.
• Assisting with self-administration of medications, without direct administration.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Accountability:

Responsible to the Home Care Manager for client care and to staffing managers for scheduling and staffing issues.
