The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and proper medication assistance, while ensuring client confidentiality and reporting concerns promptly. Requires at least 6 months caregiving experience and being 18+.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication, compassion, and adherence to safety and infection control standards.

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal prep, and feeding.

• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report changes in client condition.
• Respect client confidentiality and privacy, providing quality care within scope, and avoiding tasks beyond their credentials.
• Support clients' self-help and ensure safe medication practices, specifically only assisting with medication self-administration.
• Reporting suspected abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions immediately.
