Job summary

Exhava Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to support older adults in their own homes in San Diego, California. You will assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain safety, dignity, and independence for clients.

Ideal candidates have prior caregiving experience and an active California HCA registration, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to client homes.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience is required.
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• TB test result or chest X-ray as required by regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist male clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction
• Assist male with meal preparation, feeding when needed, and hydration
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including light housekeeping and linen changes
• Assist male clients with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation when required
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes or concerns to the care team
• Promote client dignity, comfort, safety, and independence at all times

You will assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, errands, and other needs based on their individual care plans.

What You'll Do
