Job summary

Exhava Home Care in Vista, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personal care and daily living support in clients’ homes. You will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible, following individual care plans with empathy and reliability.

The role includes companionship, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and ensuring a respectful, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration required.
• Current TB test or chest X-ray as regulations dictate.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals, assist feeding, and provide medication reminders per care plan.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and engaging activities.
• Offer patient, respectful behavioral guidance and reassurance.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable home environment for clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping to support independence.

As a Caregiver, you will provide personal care and daily support to our clients while helping them remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in the comfort of their own homes.

Your Role

As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate and dependable support based on each client's individual needs and care plan. Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal Care Assistance - Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living
• Meal Preparation & Medication Reminders - Prepare meals, assist with feeding when needed, and provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Companionship & Engagement - Provide meaningful companionship, conversation, and engaging activities
• Behavioral Support - Provide patient, respectful guidance and reassurance when needed
• Safety & Comfort - Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for our clients
• Light Housekeeping - Assist with maintaining a clean and organized living environment

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience is a plus
