Job summary

Right At Home South Columbus Metro is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / Home Health Aide to provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities in Pickerington, OH. You will support independence by assisting with daily living tasks and delivering respectful, personalized care.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with flexible Full-Time & Part-Time schedules, paid training, overtime, holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Current auto insurance (if transporting clients).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Medication reminders (no administration unless authorized).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services.
• Follow HIPAA policies and client care plans.
• Promote a safe, clean home environment.

Position Summary

As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. You'll help clients maintain their independence by assisting with daily living activities while delivering compassionate, respectful, and personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

  • Bathing

  • Dressing

  • Grooming

  • Toileting

  • Mobility and transfers

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.

• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.

• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).

• Escort clients to appointments and errands.

• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.

• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and client care plans.

• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
